Hey,
Had quite an eventful tuesday . Was working at EDX when a mad man came in and mess up the place. He was scolding everyone and was kind if like mentally unstable. Thank god the policeman came on time and kind of tame him down. Iwas so scared lo, and was hidding inside the triage room. Moments later sister came and transfered me inside.


It was a long time since i work with the agency nurse Wei Xiang. Finally got a chance to do so yesterday. haha. so happy, had a great time working with him ( wei xiang dont cry when you read this okie, so touching right =) ). Also managed to see the new cardiac thumper machine all thanks to wei xiang too. haha. Went into resus and saw the resuscitation process, and it was my first time seeing that. It was kind of sad and cruel to see the machine to be used on a frail and old patient. Can see that he is really struggling with surviving while his body fails on him. The struggle between life and death. Even though i was in high spirits being able to see the resuscitation process, but was kind of sad, seeing the heartbeat on the cardiac monitoring machine wondering if he could managed to cling on. =( .. one of the advance dip student ( who use to work in ICU explained to me about the new machine. the new one is 30:2 instead of 1:5. He was also saying that the new machine dont sound so cruel coz the old one was really loud.


Attended the ECG course and thank god i managed to absorb something. At least i know how to interprete the bundle brunch block and finally understands the importance of doing an ECG upon triage.

Went home with dai lou (cindy)after the course. Took a bus home and went to pasta mania @northpoint for dinner. yum yum =)
